What Do You Think About the Mix-Up at the Oscars By PWC Employees?

Most accountants were probably stunned by the mix-up occurred at the Oscars few days ago as the two PWC (one of the Big Four public accounting firms) employees mistakenly led to the awarding of Best Picture to La La Land when in fact it was supposed to be given to Moonlight.

The firm has been serving Oscars for the past 83 years and its name went all over the news once the incident happened.

What surprised me the most is that it took two employees so long to even react and clean up the mess after the mix-up and for a huge industry leader as PWC, its measures for solving event crisis were not as effective as one might have thought they should be. Perhaps the two employees were too excited about their attendance at the event as can been seen from their live postings on social media right at the back stage.

According to the news, they have received life threatening mails after the incident and their employer have hired body guards to ensure their safety.
