Trump SEC Pick Connected To a Mysterious Firm

Jay Clayton, a primary regulator of Wall Street, and whose wife works for Goldman Sachs where the majority of the family income comes from, is going to appear before the Senate Banking Committee Thursday.

What is mysterious about hims is the connection of his personal holdings with a company called WMB holdings.

According to Jack Blum, an expert on white-collar crime and money laundering, WMB could be one type of corporate formation company, a firm that can be used to create chains of legal entities, sometimes ending in offshore accounts, thus making the trace of financial statements impossible.

So here is the thing about transparency in the new administration, how can its citizens be confident about the future of that administration when the leaders have so many shady connections with mysterious financially related organizations?
