Should Robots Taking Human Jobs Be Taxed?

As more and more robots are being put into use in various industries, and highly sophisticated artificial intelligence has been in human service for the past few decades, the truth about some type of robot being actually able to perform tasks more accurately and efficiently than their counterparts is not a secret anymore.

In a recent interview, Bill Gates has stated an interesting point that robot who take human jobs should pay taxes according to Business Insider.

Can robots really comprehend the concept of taxation and the purpose of it?

I think there will come the time in life that robots who work just like their human counterparts should be taxed because that is when we will consider a robot a certain type of human being. And this will only happen after we- human beings end our own political conflicts and are willing to sacrifice our interests.
