First Daughter Gets West Wing Office

Ivanka Trump, the President's Daughter will maintain a West Wing office in the White House according to a senior WH official.

In accounting world, especially when it comes to audit, there is a term called "independence" that requires auditors to stay away from whoever has engaged them into the audit, only to the extend of being in a work relation. The whole concept is to give auditors space and enough right not to be influenced and dictated by whoever employed them to conduct the audit. Thus to produce an independent report of whether the employer's company is actually doing whatever they say they are doing.

My point of view is, even though Ivanka Trump is not taking any salary nor serving as an official government employee, the whole arrangement just shows that she is not being independent from the Trump family.
